Forever21 - the famous fast-fashion label – celebrates the opening of its megastore at New York’s Times Square in a special way:
A countdown board showed the waiting time until opening.
And since the opening on June 25, a huge interactive billboard impresses all the pedestrians:
on the board a young lady enters the picture, selects a passenger and puts her/him in her yellow pocket and leaves.
Then she enters the picture again, waves to the crowd, takes a Polaroid picture of the scene and shows it!
On top, the billboard also shows live on-screen feed of twitter messages from fans of Forever 21.
This augmented-reality approach is made possible by interactive cameras and computer animation – initiated by the communication agency Space150.

And if that was not enough, the new store offers extra long opening hours:
it is open every day from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m.
By that time, most of the tourists should be in bed and residents of the City That Never Sleeps can have their chance to roam the four-floor emporium unencumbered by the masses ;-)
