Guerrilla games - a well-oiled Marketing machine

Guerrilla games, Dutch creator of the best-selling Killzone game, reaches the quality of big-budget Hollywood action-film productions. Their fans love it and one could say they are "religious" about the game and therefore do the buzz for free - just because they are "spelled" by the performance and the fun they are experiencing when gaming.

The game is played in the “first-person”. Players experience the adventures through the eyes of the protagonist in best-of-breed-technology: the weapons, transport, surroundings etc. look like it could be real and motion captures are used to translate moves of real filming actors onto the digital characters.
In this way, the designed environments let experience the player a mixture of Saving Privat Ryan and Avatar.

The two co-founders, Arjan Brussee and Herman Hulst, are proud of their achievements so far: over 150 million Killzone 2 games have been played online, and the website counts 50,000 visitors per day.

As both permanently strive for (further) excellence, they do not rest on their laurels but develop already the next release of the game – this time it will be 3D-technology which additional variety of settings.
